“Sweetpea” is a quilted stitchery wallhanging inspired by these delightful flowers growing “ in my garden”. They hold such warm memories of special people in my life who have grown them before me. The Flower Fairy panels come individually, "Sweetpea", "Delphinium" and "Daffodil". Each measures approximately 5½in x 8in (14cm x 20cm). These are coloured, ready to sew and embellish as a little wallhanging, to sew into a quilt or to use as the centrepiece of a lovely cushion.

“Away with the fairies” is probably where I spent much of my childhood. I have designed this 3D wall hanging in the spirit of that blissful time. It measures approx 24in x 19in (61.5cm x 49cm). It is appliquéd using the fusible webbing technique, and is suitable for hand or machine stitching. I have machined my toadstools and hand stitched and embroidered the fairy wings. “Truffle” is the cheeky little fairy, with hand dyed mohair for hair, who inhabits the toadstools. She is made separately and hand stitched onto the hanging. Blades of grass are also sewn then hand stitched in place, and others form part of the quilting design. I have machine quilted around the toadstools and wings, making them sit out a little. Stem stitching around the border and lace motif dragonflies complete the picture.

Waterlilies finished size approx 25in x 31½in (63.5cm x 80cm).
This wall hanging has evolved from a quilt I designed and stitched some years ago. It was inspired by the cloth waterlily fairy “Compassion”, that I created more recently. It is appliquéd using the fusible webbing technique and I have chosen to machine mine, including the veins on the lilypads. The design, however, certainly lends itself to be hand appliquéd and embroidered if that is your fancy. I have machine quilted around the appliquéd lilypads, around the outside edge of each waterlily and bud, and along the border seams. I have also quilted ripples around the lilypad groups to mimic the water they sit in. The waterlily stamens are stitched beads.

A Gum Leaf Wall Hanging finished size approx 24in x 31in (61cm x 80cm). 
Inspired by the beautiful valleys of The Blue Mountains, this wall hanging has Eucalypt appliquéd and free hanging leaves, with gum blossoms stitched in place to give it a definite three dimensional look.  I have machined mine, including the central veins on the leaves, and the twigs,  but they can certainly be hand stitched, and the veins and twigs embroidered. I have machine quilted around the appliquéd leaves and along the border seams and used two of the leaf shapes to quilt around in the lower side borders.

Rooster Revelry includes the pattern for a 12 1/4in x 30in (31cm x 76cm) country style quilted wall hanging with naive appliqued roosters, each with a separate wing stitched on with a button. Each rooster has a wattle and comb, sewn and gathered, then stitched in place to add dimension.

To match this wall hanging is the door knob hanger. This is a set of three stuffed roosters each with a pair of buttoned wings. They are hung one under another on string.
